TSL Music - Summer League Madness 2: Coming Soon (Hip-Hop/ Rap)
The Startin' LineUp (TSL) is a Chicago-based group of ten members consisting of rappers, writers, producers, singers, engineers, & a DJ. In the summer of 2004, the group met while attending Iowa State University located in Ames, IA. It all started as just a friendship, but overtime, grew into something Bigger. Inspired by their shared love of music and basketball, the name of the group, The Startin' LineUp, was born.
Although the original group members still keep in touch there are currently only four active members of TSL: Marcus 'MNG' Gray, Steven 'Cy Fice' Bryant, Quentin 'DNQ' Abraham, and Donald 'DJ Partystarta' Parker.
TSL prides itself on not being trapped in a creative box & pulls inspirations from many generes including Hip-Hop, R&B, Neo-Soul & Jazz. Their biggest influences include, Little Brother, Nas, Jay-Z, Ludacris, Twista, Eminem & Kanye West.
